Advanced Sewing Skills

Target Audience
This is a program for women who has an interest in making their own garments. It would be advantageous if you have some knowledge of working on a sewing machine and how to operate, thread and troubleshoot it.

Recap and introduction to 4 different types of sewing machines
Using different attachments
Putting in of zips.
Different components to completing a garment 5. Making small samples of these components
Construction of a sleeve into a garment
Do binding, elastic, pockets, collars.
